• Make a plan before you go. Get a list of the activities and everyone in the planning. If the venues are so large; you may not be able to see everything even if you have more than one day at the venues. Some of the activities are so awesome; you may want to try to enjoy them more than once.
• Go off-season when the venues are less crowded, but check the venues' hours to make sure they haven't cut too much time out of your day. Many venues have longer hours during certain days. Check to see if you can make it on one of those days.
• Go on days when the venue is open extra hours. Check the daily attendance records and go on the lighter days. Surprisingly, the weekend may be less crowded since many are using the weekend as traveling days for their week long vacations. Get there early
• Use the map when you plan to avoid crisscrossing. Get a list of the rides or a map of the venue. You may not be able to see everything even if you have more than one day at the venue.
• Check the venues opening times, they do change. Some will open earlier or close later on certain days thus giving you more bang for the buck
• It is better for you to rent a car for your family when you want to go somewhere because they will deliver you everywhere in Bali. In Bali not all places can be passed by public transport. Ask a tour operator.
• Make sure you know your route, and bring along detailed maps of the area. Let someone know how long you plan to be away.
• Always bring some cash if you go around, in case you need to buy something, because not all places in Bali accept credit card. It is possible to draw money from the many ATMs.
• Before you make reservations, you might want to call ahead to find out about any special events that are taking place around the time of your vacation. The venues publish schedules with this information and these can be found by directly contacting the venues and are also available at tourist information centers and your hotels.
• Get your tickets from the authorized agents ahead of time to avoid the line at the gate.
• Remember that some of the activities have height restrictions. Many activities also have health warnings for items such as pregnancy or heart trouble. It is better to plan in advance than to build up a activity as a must see only to find a restriction that will keep some from going on the activity.
