One way is paved and soft steps lead through tender green lawns to a freeform swimming pool punctuated by a thriving fan palm on a small island in the center. A hotel outdoor recreation and barbecue is equipped with daybeds and a padded table, beside a swimming pool, shower room. A hibiscus hedge borders a gently swinging rice field and a walk in the coconut will take you to the beach. The view is spectacular and the melodious sounds of the waves is constant.
The living space is low, entered through tall, folding glass doors that open onto the garden and pool, allowing natural light and fresh breezes impregnate; richly patterned floor in the cold feet. A solid wooden staircase made from merbau leads to "deck of the ship," and when you walk into this room, you will understand why the park was named after a cool palace. The self-contained guest pavilion is located outside next to the pool. This circular African influenced gazebo is painted red on the outside and has a conical thatched roof, surrounded by gnarled frangipanis, a majestic tree breadfruit, pandanus and sharp. A red and black motif is woven in the right terrace of pebbles and the river is channeled along one side. Guests are lulled to sleep by the rushing water as it negotiates the spillway.
The pavilion for a single room with bath and shower room dressing room, features' bengkirai 'floors or iron, wood shelves, cupboards space and a king-size bed canopy on an elevated platform.
Puri Sejuk is well suited for parties and barbecues and the beach is accessible through the garden. The ocean immediately in front of the building is safe for swimming and canoeing, and canoes are available for use. Further down the beach is dangerous for swimming, but is renowned for its world class surfing breaks. The calm country, the roads are perfect for cycling and five pushbikes are available. A car and driver is also available for trips.
